  I took my son to the ER for possible appendicitis. Waited over two hours for a bed. The bed we got was covered in blood under the mattress and on the side. When I showed it to the nurse he said I'm really sorry about that but never got us a clean bed.
  
  Waited three hours on the bloody bed only to be told that he was too young to be treated there. In the five plus hours we waited after checking in we talked to a nurse three times and a PA twice. Horrible experience that I feel should have been prevented. We should have been told to go across the street to the children's hospital at check in.
  
  I have pictures of the blood on the bed that I will be submitting to HHS.
